Poor mans Snow

Dallas doesnt usually get any snow, but the last few years it has been snowing atleast once (atleast since 2001). I guess this is all due to Global Warming...Well thats a whole new topic to discuss...so let me cut short and get to the point. It usually snows (or ice fall) around February, but this time it snowed really early and only 1/2 to 1 inch of snow. And the next 3 days was at 0 F that the snow ( i should all ice) took 3 - 4 days to melt...Hoping to see some good snowing in February when the next Cold Wave hits Dallas..

Yagi antenna ripped apart

Perhaps every body knows what a Yagi antenna is. Most people use Televisions with Yagi antennas. I have been doing a wireless implementation for a hospital and they had a Yagi antenna for a building-to-building wireless network. A stormy night one of these antennas was ripped off from the pole on which it was mounted. Here is the before and after pictures of the antenna...

Yanni show on Dec 2

For all those who are Yanni haters, you dont need to read this post. This show was one of the best concerts I have ever attended. I carried a binoculars with me to see him real close. He really has maintained his hair very well..It looked like a shampoo advertisement on stage...About 3500 people showed up for the concert. This will be one night that I will remember for a long long time...until the next Yanni concert...
